Indonesian Batik

Batik is a fabric that normally uses the technique of wax-resist dyeing to create such patterns. However, thanks to advances in printing many products are put in the category of batik, although they are not made with traditional methods.

 The popular and well respected Javanese batik designs based on culture and religion of the area. The three main colors used in these prints are generally dark brown, white and indigo. This is because in ancient days, natural dyes were usually found only in these colors. 

The motif of batik also refer to the rank and social status of individuals. The model of Java in general from another region in Indonesia, or even other parts of the world.
